VPS4 Payroll Officer

About the Role:

Our client is a VIC government organisation based in the Melbourne CBD. They are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to come in and work with them on a temporary contract opportunity until 31/12/2026 with possible extensions.
Candidates for this role must have:

• Proven end to end high volume payroll processing experience
• Prior experience working with SAP SuccessFactors system
• Previous Local, state or Federal government experience
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with Advanced Excel skills required.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-End Payroll & Compliance: Process the fortnightly pay cycle, superannuation, payroll tax, and ad hoc payments in line with the VPS agreement and legislative standards.
