Position Overview
**JOB SUMMARY**
This position is responsible for payroll administration for several related companies with combined staff of approximately 300+ employees. Ensure that processing is accurate, timely, and in compliance with government rules and regulations.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
β’ Ensure that weekly employee payroll is processed accurately and timely
β’ Maintain accurate employee data, including processing labor cost against project codes, calculation of overtime pay, vacation/sick leave accruals, rate changes, personal information changes, transfers, payroll deductions, and direct deposits in compliance with federal/state/local regulations.
β’ Process weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.
β’ Serve as point of contact with payroll service representatives.
β’ Enter new hires and process terminations in payroll system.
