Payroll Supervisor
This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, analytical and experienced in managing payroll processes accurately and efficiently within a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise payroll clerks and ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
- Audit payroll information and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile payroll with the general ledger and cash book
- Deliver professional service to internal stakeholders
- Lead, mentor and support the payroll team
Requirements
- Matric or relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar payroll role
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
