We are recruiting for a specialized eating disorder trained psychologist to work on the Medical Behavioral Unit (MBU) at Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. The MBU is a 17 bed medical stabilization unit for children, adolescents and young adults with severe malnutrition, primarily associated with eating disorders. The psychologist works closely with physicians, nurses, dietitians, and psychiatry to provide evidence-based care for the population. The psychologist may work with children and adolescents admitted to other services to help with feeding / eating disorders. Nursing education and supervision of psychology trainees I encouraged.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Advanced Practice Pediatric Clinical Psychologist has training in select areas that enables them to provide specialized direct patient care in assigned locations.
