Whanganui District Council is seeking a People & Capability Advisor to join our People & Capability team on a part time basis (approximately 30 hours per week with flexibility on when these are worked within business hours).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a broad range of people matters and is ready to hit the ground running, providing practical advice and support to managers and employees.

Working alongside our fun and collaborative People & Capability team you'll support recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, organisational change initiatives and workforce reporting.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• At least 2-3 years' experience in an HR Advisory role.
