Provide clinical pharmacy support in a small critical access hospital setting with 25 beds, delivering high-quality inpatient care from June 3 through June 8. This per diem opportunity is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, designed for pharmacists experienced in acute care environments and ready to contribute to a focused team during PRN needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians’ activities, supporting and guiding their workflow.
- Manage cart fills and ensure timely medication delivery to appropriate units.
- Dispense medications using Pyxis automated systems.
- Maintain clear communication with clinical staff to support optimal pharmacy services.
