We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Per Diem Pulmonary Function Technologist - Lake Success.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for performing Pulmonary Function testing which includes Lung Volumes, Spirometries, Diffusion Capacity, Methacholine Challenges and Pulmonary Exercise testing as required. Performs daily quality assurance on the equipment to insure the quality and validity of the tests performed.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned

Checks and validates physician order for testing procedure. Schedules patients for testing. Performs FVL, FVC, Lung Volumes, DLCO, MVV as required.

Generates appropriate paperwork to permit the interpretation of Pulmonary Function Tests. Reviews folders on a daily basis to insure efficient turnaround of patient reports.

Performs Methacholine Challenge testing for WUH attendings and private attendings. Reviews schedule with Pharmacy t...
