Position Overview
Job Summary:
The Performance Management Specialist is responsible for the overall coordination of the performance management processes for employees represented by UUP, CSEA, PEF, and PBA NYS, plus Management/Confidential and Research Foundation employees.
What you'll do:
+ Provide reports to Human Resources and Hospital Administration regarding the completion and compliance rates for performance evaluations.
+ Work closely with Employee Labor Relations for employee performance issues, providing consultative support and detailed timelines.
+ Provide support and coordination of performance management documentation for hospital and departmental audits and surveys.
+ Assist with education and training of SUNY Upstate supervisors and staff, which includes participation in performance management training modules.
