Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of mine accounts end to end. Visit sites weekly, build relationships with engineering managers, maintenance planners, buyers and stores, and become the supplier they call first.
• Drive the full sales cycle. Identify the need, quote within authority, follow up, negotiate and close. Convert standing pipeline into purchase orders and chase outstanding orders to delivery and invoice.
• Hit revenue and gross profit targets. Work to a monthly revenue target and a branch gross profit floor. No quote goes out below the floor without Branch Manager approval. Track and improve your own strike rate.
• Register and operate on client procurement portals. Get the company listed and active on mine vendor systems such as Coupa, SAP Ariba and the mine SMME portals, and keep registrations cu...
