Program Overview

The Personal Support Worker (PSW) Training Program is a 6‑month sponsored training that provides the skills needed to support clients in the community.

Program Details

• Five (5) weeks of paid PSW training at $19.05 per hour, Monday to Friday 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Participants who complete the first five weeks are paid to work part‑time in the community while continuing education.
• Continued training includes 4 months of virtual learning, 3 weeks of in‑person skills lab, and required placements.
• Training covers personal care activities, household management, and general support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support household management tasks as needed.
• Provide general supportive care in community settings.
