Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965 as a 200-bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status.


Scope of work 

Fills medication orders including oral, injectable and topical medications and intravenous admixtures.Assists in the bulk manufacturing of special pharmaceutical products. Prepares and distributes floor stock items in response to requisition forms. Inventories and restocks shelves in immediate work area, checks for outdated drugs. Enters charges and credits into the computer for all medications and IV admixtures dispensed from the Pharmacy, documents all medications and IV solutions returned to the Pharmacy.
