Pharmacy Technician

Job Description
This Pharmacy Technician role focuses on accurately preparing and packaging medications, supporting prescription order entry, and maintaining pharmacy equipment and inventory in a long-term care setting. You will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure timely medication cycle delivery, proper storage and security of drug inventory, and high-quality service to patients and facilities.
Responsibilities

+ Accurately retrieve, count, measure, prepare, package, and label medications in accordance with prescriptions and facility requirements.

+ Operate and properly maintain pharmacy equipment related to job duties, including the SynMed Ultra system.

+ Assist with prescription filling activities, including order entry and insurance-related tasks, to support efficient pharmacy operations.
