Summary The Pharmacy Technician shall provide and support operations of the Community Care Clinical Pharmacists. The technician functions as a resource to pharmacy staff, Non-VA and community care partners, and the Medical center regarding community care prescriptions. The incumbent will support patient care in the Pharmacy waiting room, assisting patients with pharmacy procedures, providing care coordination between pharmacy and providers, and assisting Pharmacy operations as needed Responsibilities The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the Care In the Community (CITC) Programs, assisting Triage functions at the pharmacy waiting room, support V21 Pharmacy Clinical Contact Center, review and handled daily CMOP rejects in addition to Vista/GUI emails follow up, receive inbound and provide outbound calls.
