Must hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Physiotherapy or Neuroscience.A track record of research in sensory/pain neuroscience.Be familiar with intracellular Ca2+ imaging and/or patch-clamp electrophysiology.Experience in animal work (pain behavior, with valid certificate for animal use).Skills on statistical data analysis, data plotting and scientific reporting.A track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications is highly desirable.Pain is an adaptive sensory experience that prevents tissue injury, but its chronification constitutes a major public health and socioeconomic burden.
