JOB SUMMARY The Phlebotomist I-Lab, is responsible for collecting patient specimens from outside or within the Hospital in accordance with established procedures. Responsible for distributing specimens to appropriate area(s) within the laboratory. Responsible for general clerical duties. Responsible for learning the duties of the Phlebotomist II position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education : High School graduate or equivalent. Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration : N/A
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education : Graduated from accredited phlebotomy program. Experience : Six (6) months phlebotomy experience. Licensure/Certification/Registration : Phlebotomy certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology or equivalent agency. A valid drivers license.
