Job Title: Phlebotomist - SouthgateJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team in Southgate. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in outpatient settings, with opportunities for both stationary and float positions.
Responsibilities

+ Draw patient blood samples, properly process, and package them, approximately 25-30 times per day.

+ Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws.

+ Coordinate the pickup and shipping of samples to the medical testing site in Novi/Farmington.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in blood draw, phlebotomy, and venipuncture.

+ Experience in specimen collection and processing.

+ At least 6 months of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant.

+ Ability to perform 200 plus solo draws.

+ Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer tube colors for multiple tube collections.
