DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Under the direct supervision of the Outpatient Rehab Manager, the Physical Therapist evaluates and treats all patients referred for physical therapy in the Outpatient setting; prepares reports and communicates patient progress to MDs and other clinical staff; contributes to the development of the department. SUPERVISION: Reports directly to the Director of Physical Medicine
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide direct patient care. Designs and implements a plan of care for the patient based on assessment. Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care. Document evaluations , treatment goals, and plans. Provides direction and leadership to staff and acts as a resource to promote physical therapy within the community.
