JOB SUMMARY
Provides therapy services to children from birth to 21 years of age and other patients as assigned, to restore function and to prevent disability following disease or injury.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment, treatment or care that is evidence based and appropriate to the developmental/chronological age of the patients served.Performs evaluation, planning, intervention, consultation and training under the supervision of the Senior Therapist(s) of own discipline, Manager and Director of department.Evaluates and assesses patients using evidence based and measurable methodsProvides consistent high-quality patient and family educationCompletes patient care requirements including documentation and schedule within established timelines according to Provision of Care.Meets all hospital ...
