The physician would attend on the inpatient infectious diseases transplant and oncology consult services at Montefiore Medical Center, engage in ambulatory care of transplant/oncology and general infectious diseases patients, and develop and/or participate in research and teaching in infectious diseases. The transplant/oncology infectious diseases consult services are part of multidisciplinary teams that care for pre- and post- heart, lung, kidney, liver, pancreas and bone marrow/stem cell transplant as well as cardiac assist device and oncology patients.
