Physiologist (Cardiology)

The post holder will be a specialist in Cardiac Echocardiography with BSE accreditation.

This post requires a close working relationship with the Principal Echocardiographer and the Consultant Clinical Scientist.

Work is carried out either across four days, 8am - 6pm or 5 days, 9am - 5pm depending on departmental need, Monday -Friday.

Main duties of the job

To ensure the provision of a quality echo service at Princess Royal University Hospital and when required at King's College Hospital.

To take specific responsibility for the development of a one stop echo service for patients attending cardiology outpatients.

To provide teaching and support to other members of the department learning echocardiography.
