Position Summary

Under the direction of the program manager, the Physiotherapist is responsible for the coordination and provision of physiotherapy services to clients in facilities and communities within the Interlake‑Eastern Regional Health Authority (IERHA). In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and external agencies, the physiotherapist focuses on assessment, intervention, planning, and implementation of individualized programs, discharge planning, and follow‑up for referred clients. The practitioner also provides education to clients, families, and other health‑care staff regarding treatment, health‑problem management, and preventive techniques, with a primary goal of promoting health and restoring function to enable independence in home or community settings.
