The Northern Alberta Cardiac Rehabilitation Program provides exercise and education services that help patients manage their health following a cardiac event. The Physiotherapist II (PT II) is an Advanced Practice Role requiring specialized knowledge and skills to support patients with diverse rehabilitation needs. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the PT II collaborates with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient-centered care. The PT II participates in program, zone and provincial initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions and post-surgical cardiac rehabilitation needs.
Monitor patient progress and develop individualized treatment plans.
Identify barriers to rehabilitation participation and implement appropriate interventions.
