Physiotherapist – Permanent part‑time position, 20 to 24 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a specialist palliative care physiotherapy service to Te Omanga Hospice patients. This includes delivering quality interventions for inpatients and outpatients, assessing and advising on patients’ activities of daily living and supplying assistive equipment as required. The role also involves managing pain, fatigue, neurological issues, and general deconditioning, providing practical advice for family carers, contributing to service development activities, education and quality initiatives, and actively participating as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
