Part time (0.7 FTE), permanent role within Women’s Health (56 hours/fortnight)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to provide quality outpatient and occasional inpatient care across obstetrics, gynaecology, and pelvic pain specialties within Women’s Health at Christchurch Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage a range of women’s health presentations, including lower back pain during pregnancy, continence issues, prolapse, and chronic pelvic pain, applying detailed anatomical knowledge and evidence‑based musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
• Complete appropriate interventions, provide advice, and refer to other services as required.
• Supervise and mentor staff and student participants.
• Support quality improvement activities and contribute to interdisciplinary service development.
