Position Information Position Title Piano Accompanist - Part-Time UIW Mission University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that welcomes to its community persons of diverse backgrounds, in the belief that their respectful interaction advances the discovery of truth, mutual understanding, self-realization, and the common good. Position Summary The piano accompanist provides support to the Department of Music through accompaniment on piano. The accompanist works closely with area coordinators and private lesson instructors during rehearsals and performances, which may occur during and outside the regular school day. The accompanist also serves as an instructional resource for music students. The piano accompanist reports to the Chair of the Music Department.
