Overview

The Pipefitter (Hourly) will work on a three-shift rotation to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain steam and hot water heating systems, high pressure steam lines, sprinkler systems, and piping systems for air, oil, gas, paint, acids, solvents, and fluids, including pumps and collectors.
• Cut, thread, bend, file, burr, ream, and install pipes, couplings, unions, elbows, flanges, valves, etc.
• Work with cast iron, brass, stainless steel, and other types of piping, valves, traps and vessels and use all types of Pipefitter tools including taps, portable power pipe threaders, gas torches, hacksaws, drills and benders.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensure compliance with codes (Legislative, Safety), and ensure that all work completed results in the highest quality of product leaving the workstati...
