Overview
Our client, a civil construction company in Polokwane, is currently seeking a Plant Hire Facilitator to assist in managing the hiring and deployment of plant machinery and equipment for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of plant equipment, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of coordinating logistics for construction projects.
Responsibilities:
β Coordinate with project managers to assess equipment needs for upcoming projects
β Source and hire plant machinery and equipment from suppliers
β Negotiate rental contracts and agreements with vendors
β Ensure timely delivery and collection of equipment to and from project sites
β Coordinate maintenance and repairs for equipment as needed
β Monitor and track inventory of equipment and machinery
β Provide regular updates to project managers on equipment availability and usage
