About This Role Rates.ca operates a modern, regulated, multi‑platform engineering ecosystem spanning cloud, edge, CI/CD, observability, and data platforms. As the platform surface grows, we’re looking for strong Platform Engineers who can:

Build and evolve paved roads for software engineers

Operate confidently across cloud and edge architectures

Reduce friction, risk, and toil across delivery teams

Partner closely with Security, Operations, and Software Engineering

What You’ll Work On (Platform Scope) You’ll contribute to and operate across the core platforms currently used at Rates.ca, including:

AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, networking, managed services)

Hybrid workloads spanning serverless and VM‑based systems

Regional and environment‑aware deployment patterns

Edge & Traffic Platforms
