GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

While demonstrating excellent customer service, the Podiatrist at Whitney Young Health provides specialized care in examination, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of foot disorders, both medically and surgically. Ensures optimum safe environment and ensures compliance with local, state and federal requirements (i.e. OSHA, JCAHO, NYSDOH) within the Podiatry office.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ See patients on a scheduled or urgent care basis for podiatric problems. The category may include: corns, calluses, warts, bunions, hammertoes, fungus nails, fungal skin diseases, ingrown toenails, pedal tumors, heel spurs, athlete’s foot, Morton’s neuroma.

+ Consultation and Referral: The podiatrist is also alert to the symptoms of systemic diseases that manife...
