Major Duties

Under general supervision, the Police Officer is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities that support the safety, security, and overall well-being of the campus community. The role involves high visibility, proactive engagement, rapid response to emergencies, detailed documentation, and careful execution of law enforcement procedures. Officers operate in dynamic environments, interacting with students, faculty, staff, and visitors while ensuring adherence to laws and maintaining a positive, service-oriented presence.

• Implement community policing concepts through quantifiable and measurable activities to create police/community partnerships, thereby gaining confidence and building credibility with the campus community.
