The Role
Policy Advisers work on projects that seek to address critical issues facing the State. They are part of teams that use best practice management disciplines and deliver outstanding results for clients. They use exceptional analysis and critical thinking to formulate findings and recommendations. They produce compelling communications – briefs, reports and submissions that facilitate effective executive decision-making.
Main accountabilities:
* Prepares project scopes and briefs within broad parameters
* Advice and analysis contributes to policy formulation
* Drafts reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing data
* Applies negotiation persuasion and motivation skills to manage staff and stakeholders
