About the role:
Policy Officers provide high quality research and analysis, which contributes to strategic advice and the delivery of projects. You will provide policy development support and capability building.
Considering work across government, the AOD sector and the community, the Policy Officer contributes to the development of evidence-based policy advice that responds to emerging issues and improves health and social outcomes for people affected by alcohol and other drug use.
To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing team member with strong analytical and written communication skills, policy skills, strategic planning and project management, skills. You will have the opportunity to apply and grow your skills on complex projects across a variety of policy areas. Success in this role will be predicated on the ability to work with subject matter experts and ensure outcomes are achieved.
