Role Description

This full-time on-site Postdoctoral Researcher role at Instituto Geofísico del Perú is based at the Jicamarca Radio Observatory. The postdoctoral researcher will design and conduct research projects in geophysics and related fields, including experimental and observational studies. Daily activities include developing methodologies, collecting and processing data, performing quantitative analyses, and interpreting results for scientific and applied purposes. The role involves preparing manuscripts, technical reports, and conference presentations, as well as contributing to grant proposals and collaborative projects with internal and external partners. The researcher will also mentor students and participate in academic seminars and outreach events.
