Position Summary

A postdoctoral position is available in the Crandall Laboratory at Michigan State University. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to investigate how Tsc1/2 deficiency affects cortical circuit function and behavior in a mouse model of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. This is an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow position. The Crandall lab uses a variety of approaches to study the normal functions of neurons, synapses, and circuits in the mammalian brain, as well as the mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders. For this position, we are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in electrophysiological approaches, preferably in in vitro brain preparations. However, all enthusiastic, curious, and ambitious candidates are encouraged to apply.
