Job Description

Understands, supports and promotes the mission, vision and values of the Organization. Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the regulatory body. Adheres to and promotes the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi. The Practical Midwife is not licensed for independent practice and remains responsible and accountable for his/her own actions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in accordance with the organisations policy and procedures and the unit scope of service.
• To maintain a high standard of nursing and midwifery care for patients, working within evidence-based guidelines and unit specific competencies.
