Role Description

The Practice Principal / Head Vet oversees clinical standards, case management, and patient outcomes, while guiding veterinarians, nurses, and support staff in delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care. Daily responsibilities include consulting with pet parents, performing examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. The Practice Principal / Head Vet also manages practice operations such as workflow, scheduling, resource allocation, and collaboration with central support functions. Additional responsibilities include coaching and mentoring team members, promoting continuous learning, supporting graduate veterinarians, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the practice within the TAH network.
