Position Overview

Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. As a Presidential Library Director, at one of the following libraries: Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library, William J Clinton Presidential Library, and Dwight Eisenhower Presidential Library, you will report to the Director for the Office of Presidential Libraries.
Incumbent is responsible for leadership, policy and program development, program accountability, budget formulation and strategic planning for the library.

As a Presidential Library Director, you will:
Plan and direct the programs and activities of the library, which contains the papers and collections of the President, including Presidential records for the period of his or her tenure; the papers of persons such as cabinet officers, heads of Federal agencies, members of Congress, political leaders, as well as national political organizations; selected records of federal agencies; a library of books, pamphlets...
