Position: CNC Press Brake Operator

Location: Wakefield

Alternating weekly shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm

Proactive are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake machines to produce components to specification.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Select the correct tooling and carry out machine set-ups efficiently.
Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance where required.
Work safely and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and reduce waste.

Skills:

Previous experience operating Amada CNC Press Brakes .
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
