Waste Connections is looking to hire a **Preventative Maintenance Mechanic** to join our team in Weatherford, Texas!

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and equipment
+ Work on electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air systems
+ Use diagnostic software and tools to find and fix issues
+ Respond to road calls and make emergency repairs
+ Complete repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
+ Test drive trucks after repairs
+ Help other mechanics as needed
+ Keep shop clean and safe (OSHA compliant)
+ Communicate professionally with drivers and team members

**What We’re Looking For:**

+ Experience working on diesel vehicles
+ Comfortable using diagnostic tools and doing preventative maintenance
+ Basic personal tool set
+ Hydraulic experience is a plus

**What We Offer:**
