Position Overview

Full‑time permanent Primary Care Paramedic located in Miramichi, NB. Rotating days and nights, weekends, and statutory holidays with required shift coverage. Anticipated start date: as soon as possible.

The ambulance service responds to approximately 130,000 calls per year. Primary Care Paramedics provide medical support to patients on scene and while en route to hospitals, applying emergency techniques and medical treatments in unpredictable field situations.

Duties of Position

• Provide medical support to patients on scene and en route to hospitals.

• Act as first responder in crisis situations, ensuring a thorough response before leaving the scene.
