Job Overview

We are seeking a Primary Design Engineer to provide technical expertise in High Voltage Primary Engineering managing primary design for distribution and transmission systems (22kV to 500kV). The role is expected to be a trusted advisor to clients and deliver work on time and within budget. The engineer will also mentor and develop other engineers in their area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Develop primary engineering deliverables including substation layout design, clearances, short circuit force calculations, lighting calculations, and earthing
• Fulfill the role of Lead Engineer for projects within defined packages, delivering on time and budget
• Provide technical direction to design teams, including engineers in our Global Delivery Centres
