Position Overview
Under the general direction of the Manager, Health Services, the incumbent applies advanced nursing theory in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of outpatients.
Experience
Minimum four years mental health nursing experience required. Satisfactory employment record is required. Previous experience in community and/or ambulatory care nursing is preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Graduate from an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing required. BN or BScMH or BScPN or equivalent as recognized by the Centre required. Master's degree in Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing or Family Therapy is preferred. Ongoing relevant continuing education in the mental health field is required. Certification/Licensure/Registration
