SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD Support)

Inclusion Hub – Mainstream Primary School, Chelmsford
Full-Time Position

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chelmsford , working within their Inclusion Hub .

This full‑time role focuses on supporting pupils with Autonomy Spectrum Disorder (ASD) , helping them to access learning and thrive within a structured and nurturing environment.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD
• Work within the school’s Inclusion Hub, supporting tailored learning programmes
• Assist the class teacher and SENCO in delivering personalised learning plans
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development
• Support pupils in transitioning between the hub and mainstream classrooms where appropriate
