**Job Description Summary**
The Principal Engineer – Electrical Wind Systems is a key Controlled Title Holder role in the Electrical Subsystem organization in GE Vernova's Onshore Wind business. This role will have functional responsibility for Electrical Systems for new turbine design and fleet support.

**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Initiates, owns or reviews development/test plans – at the supplier, lab, prototype, and customer sites. Drives the incorporation of insights gained in each validation step in products, design practices, tools and methods.
+ Maintains a key role in developing and defining the state of the art in own technical specialty in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, safety, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to quality standards, schedules and estimated costs
