Master’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, engineering, climate, or a university degree with at least 5 years specialized experience relevant to the position can be considered.
At least 12 years of work experience in the field of climate-related private sector project development, advisory, financing activities, preferably in the Asia and Pacific region. International experience working in several countries.
Significant experience in private sector development, transaction advisory, risk mitigation, or debt/equity finance in climate change mitigation and adaptation projects.
Working experience with governments, investors, private equity funds, commercial banks, and international organizations.
Proven management and leadership qualities.
Familiarity with private investment operations, policies, and procedures of multilateral financial institutions is preferred.
