Principal and Vice-Principal

The Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of Principal and Vice Principal in our elementary and secondary schools.

Qualifications – Principal

• Ontario School Principal's Certificate Parts 1 and 2 (which requires a Master's Degree or double specialist) completed at time of application;
• Recommendation from the immediate supervisor;
• Demonstration of successful educational leadership experience;
• Superior administrative and organizational skills;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications – Vice Principal

• Leadership experience at the school or board level;
• At the time of interviews, registered for or completed Principal Qualification Program Part 1 certification;
• Recommendation from the immediate supervisor;
• Superior administrative and organizational skills;
