This role provides the technical expertise needed to design and develop processes to support quartz crystal resonator fabrication In this position the Engineer will be responsible for Designing the following:

manufacturing equipment to improve and update crystal manufacturing processes 

crystal resonators using various software programs (In house, COMSOL, etc)

Other responsibilities include:

Maintaining various manufacturing process to include the following (but not be limited to): lapping and polishing, chemical etching, thin film evaporation, cleaning and sealing 

Maintain and improve processes through engineering tools and statistical concepts 

Maintains accurate documentation and procedures

Identifies and initiates the purchase of equipment, supplies, and manufacturing tools
