BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing,Chemical or Process Engineering
Experience with Composites manufacturing
Any experience with Carbon Fiber manufacturing
Knowledge of the following processes: Hand Lay-up, Resin Transfer Molding(RTM), and Automated Fiber Placement(AFP)
Root Cause, PFMEA, Statistics & SQC/SPC
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain robust manufacturing processes for composite parts, focusing on maximizing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This includes techniques such as lay-up, curing (autoclave/oven), trimming, and assembly
Provide technical support and daily direction to production personnel. Lead root-cause analysis for production issues, including non-conformances related to materials or processes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.<...
