Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience with distillation units/Refinery units (crude, vacuum, or fractionation columns)
• Operate and monitor distillation columns, reboilers, condensers, pumps, and associated systems via DCS (Distributed Control system)
• Maintain process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and levels within specified limits
• Adjust control loops to optimize separation efficiency and product quality
• Should have thorough Understanding of DCS architecture, safety interlock, logic block
• Execute plant start‑up and shutdown procedures as per SOPs
• In case of deviation/upset of process parameters, should have knack of responding quickly to alarms, process deviations, and emergencies
• Take corrective actions to stabilize operations and avoid plant trips
• Lead unit operation/troubleshooting, investigating off spec product generation
