Position Overview
Job Purpose
The Procurement and Supply Clerk provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement and Supply Unit by assisting with purchasing, inventory management, supplier coordination, and record keeping. The position ensures that procurement activities are carried out efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Support
• Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers in accordance with procurement procedures.
• Support the preparation of bid documents, requests for quotations (RFQs), and tender documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers on quotations, deliveries, and invoices.
• Maintain an updated supplier database and procurement records.
• Ensure all procurement documentation is complete and properly filed.
